The Marion Hotel operates under the Hurley Hotel Group. HHG is a family owned business established and operating in South Australia for over 30 years.

In 1984, Peter & Jenny Hurley purchased the lease of the Marion Hotel at Mitchell Park. It had been operated by the same family since being built in the late ‘60’s and was one of the larger suburban hotels within the working class neighbourhood.

Through hard work and high volumes, the hotel resulted in profitable outcomes for the Hurleys. In 2018 (20 years since the last renovation), the $20 Million major redevelopment on the Marion Hotel commenced, featuring 62 motel rooms — up from 12, new bottleshop, new bars, function rooms, a beer garden and two dining areas (boom, mic drop). If you haven’t come to visit us yet, well…you’re missing out but if you have, we hope to see you again soon for a beer and some banter!
